Well, J and his dad bought a pinball machine finally! They’ve been wanting to do this for several months but finally found a cheap one that they like last week. It’s a work not-yet-in-progress and will probably take them many months to get it into shape. They are both very excited, it’s always nice to have an intriguing project, whether you are 4 or 33. 😉/home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/18b/23088059/files/2015/01/img_4221.jpg

We spent the morning in pjs, tinkering and working at home. E settled in at the tool table and after a few minutes C left his position on the furnace vent and joined him. They hammered and drilled quite contentedly. /home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/18b/23088059/files/2015/01/img_4244.jpg

C has been permanently banned from putting his feet in the vent after I found handfuls of little toys dropped down the duct pipe. Couldn’t have seen that coming. 😉 Here he is putting small things into a container, something he really loves to do currently. /home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/18b/23088059/files/2015/01/img_4245.jpg

C finally got “lovely” flowers at the store and he’s been carrying them with him through the house. Every time we pass a flower display in a grocery store, he asks me to buy him some. Aldi had cheap ones so I acquiesced. They only spilled 4 times yesterday…. Also, they are perfect for a pretend jungle for little animals. /home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/18b/23088059/files/2015/01/img_4224.jpg

E rode downstairs in the laundry basket, grinning happily. This 36 pound, 36 inch kid tall still insists he’s “tiny!”.

I was then instructed to wear the bear hat and E took my picture. /home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/18b/23088059/files/2015/01/img_4241.jpg

Dried seaweed spilled on the floor and the wild animals took care of it. /home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/18b/23088059/files/2015/01/img_4246.jpg

Everett roars like a… bear? Lion? Something. They played animals for a while after this and then Sadie (our dog, not servant) cleaned up the leftovers. /home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/18b/23088059/files/2015/01/img_4249.jpg
